Football fans were left shocked when a video emerged of Neymar playing poker during his daughter’s birthday celebrations. The pair were clapping and interacting with their child – but fans couldn’t help but notice the Brazilian star’s phone. His phone was just to the right, open on a game of poker, which he sporadically checked in on.
“This looks like some sort of a Druski skit or something,” a second joked, referencing an American content creator known for his comedy sketches. While a third replied: “When it’s your daughter’s birthday but you need to hit a rakeback milestone…” And another added: “Neymar could not play football for three years, come back, and still be better than everyone. However, he’s more focused on taking other people’s money!”

National team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar warned in December that Neymar had a long journey ahead of him before returning to action.
He said: “It’s too early. There’s no point skipping steps to recover sooner and taking unnecessary risks. Our expectation is that he will be ready to return at the start of the 2024 season in Europe, which is August.”
