My partner has become too grand for words. I can no longer deal with her diva-ish behavior. I’m the first to admit that she’s achieved a lot in a very short time.
She’s only 28 but is already running a department of 30 staff, turning over a profit of several millions. Her bosses respect her, her clients love her and her staff are in awe of her. The problem is that she throws her weight around in the office all day and thinks she can come home and carry on.
I’m sick of being treated like the hired help both in bed and out of it. With her success has come a huge appetite for hard, edgy sex. She keeps saying she has to “feel” something after a tough day.

But nothing gives her the right to treat you like part of the furniture. You, like everyone else, have your limits. It’s fantastic that she’s doing so well but we all benefit from a decent work/life balance and every relationship needs nurturing and protecting.
You are not her inferior. Pick your moment when she’s calm and approachable – maybe at the weekend – and make it clear that you refuse to go on like this because you have feelings and needs too.
