Anton Ferdinand invites John Terry to watch 2011 incident footage together – Daily Star

Anton Ferdinand has challenged John Terry to a face-to-face meeting to re-watch the unedited footage of the incident that saw the ex-England captain found guilty of racial abuse by an FA independent commission. Despite being found not guilty of a racially-aggravated public order offence during a criminal trial, the FA’s independent regulatory commission later found Terry guilty, resulting in a four-match suspension and a hefty £220,000 fine.

Terry has questioned the fairness of the FA proceedings, claiming evidence used during his court case was refused. He suggested that his board members were refused entry to give evidence backing him.

He further mentioned that he would be open to sitting down with Ferdinand to watch and discuss the incident, but only if the conversation took place in front of live cameras. Speaking on the Five YouTube channel, Ferdinand expressed his willingness to sit down with Terry to watch the unblurred footage if Terry really wanted to make positive change.

He emphasized the importance of discussing the incident in front of live cameras, stating that if Terry did not want to talk about it in that way, then as far as he was concerned, the case would be closed.
