Jeff Stelling expressed frustration and anger after discovering that his Range Rover Sport had been significantly damaged while he was giving a talk at ‘An Evening With Jeff Stelling’, hosted by Bianca Westwood on February 11. In a social media post, he referred to the perpetrators as “scumbags” and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Stelling also mentioned that there is CCTV footage capturing the individuals responsible for the damage. The incident was reported to the authorities, and an investigation is ongoing, with a request for information from the public.
The event at which the incident occurred included a meet and greet, a live interview with Stelling, an audience Q&A, and a memorabilia auction. Tickets for the event were priced at either £32.70 or £58.20 for the VIP meet and greet package.
Stelling, known for his long tenure as the face of Sky’s Soccer Saturday show, had recently joined talkSPORT as the host of its Breakfast Show due to the toll his previous role at Sky was taking on his health. Additionally, Stelling announced his upcoming involvement in darting events around the UK and Europe, competing against prominent players in the sport over the next few months.
He expressed a sense of relief at stepping away from his previous role, citing its impact on his well-being and his desire to avoid ongoing battles over his opinions.
