The Spanish resort area is traditionally busy in the summer, but it shuts down from around October to April. However, Frank, who runs a stag company business, claims that Benidorm is now an all-year-round resort. He says that the bars and restaurants are busier than ever during the winter, and many of them have stayed open because of the increased business.
According to Frank, Benidorm has become a popular destination for tourists of all ages, not just in the summer but throughout the year. He has observed an increase of 40% in Benidorm bookings from last year and has warned British holidaymakers to book soon if they plan to visit during the summer months. The busy season in Benidorm runs from May to August, and accommodation may be difficult to secure.
Frank attributes Benidorm’s popularity to its affordability. He mentions that while other Spanish hotspots have been increasing prices in recent years, the Costa Blanca still offers a great deal for accommodation and activities. In fact, Frank believes that a week-long trip to Benidorm could cost around £256 to £342, which includes flight, accommodation, food, and drinks.
He claims that pints are priced as low as 84p in some bars, making it an affordable holiday destination. As a result of the increased popularity and affordability, Frank believes that Benidorm has become an all-year-round resort, catering to a wide range of tourists and offering a variety of activities and entertainment options.
