One United fan posted a screenshot on X, formerly Twitter, earlier this week showing 623 tickets available for their match. Prices were from a minimum of £298.98. Contrastingly, 3,496 tickets remained on sale for City vs Chelsea, starting at a far cheaper £62.
United fans used it as an opportunity to aim jibes at their rivals. *Who’s winning the FA Cup? One asked: “Are you bragging at being fleeced.”
Another responded: “It’s a big game for you lot. Not for City. That’s the difference.
Standards. If you’re happier being ripped off then fsr be it from me to get in your way.” And one slammed: “Imagine bragging about getting ripped off [laughing emojis] these lot will literally flex anything.”
United will be hopeful of reaching the final to defend their crown from last season, while City will be favorites against Mauricio Pochettino’s inconsistent Chelsea.
