During World War II, a senior commander visited a disused air force base in the village of Drem, East Lothian. He observed that it was in poor condition, with cows grazing on grass that had grown through cracks in the tarmac.
However, to his surprise, four years later, the airfield was renovated and operational, with mechanics in blue overalls and yellow training planes on the runway. This included a model that he had never seen before, leading to speculation that he may have experienced a time slip.
In a seemingly unrelated event, a 1930s photo surfaced showing a man holding a mobile phone in Union Square in New York, and artwork from 1670 depicted a man holding an iPhone. In July 1954, a man arrived at Tokyo International airport claiming to be from a town called Taured, which he said was over 1,000 years old and located between France and Spain.
However, when he pointed to the location on a map, it turned out to be Andorra. He disappeared from his hotel room despite two guards stationed outside.
There were also speculations about a man, believed to be Frederick Sluysken, who was depicted wearing trainers in a painting from more than 300 years before the actual brand Nike began producing them. He claimed to have been taken aboard a spaceship for three months, but when he returned to Earth, only 18 minutes had passed.
The man, Alex, spoke at a 2007 event in Japan, claiming that an alien’s day is equivalent to 31 days on Earth and that he was made to wear a belt so they could hear his thoughts. However, he kept having to take naps, leading the aliens to believe he was unwell.
