Sandro Tonali receives new punishment for breaching FA betting rules – Daily Star

Sandro Tonali, who was initially charged in March for violating the FA’s betting rules, will not face an additional ban. The FA stated that the 23-year-old received a £20,000 fine and a suspended two-month ban from all football-related activities until the end of the 2024/25 season.

This means he will be able to return from August 27 if he avoids further sanctions. He has also been warned and fined by the FA for his future conduct.

This suspension is in addition to the existing ten-month sanction imposed by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) on October 27, 2023. The FA acknowledged Tonali’s extraordinary and unprecedented level of assistance in the investigation as he self-referred and fully cooperated.

He made full admissions regarding his betting activity, without any other evidence of misconduct. Tonali is following a therapeutic plan and educational program with the full support of the club and will continue to train with his teammates.

In addition to the betting rule breaches, it is also mentioned that a full pack of TNT Sports includes exclusive discovery+ originals, Discovery, TLC, Quest, Really, Live Eurosport, Cycling, Tennis, Snooker, Motorsports, all cycling Grand Tours, Australian Open & Roland-Garros Tennis, Olympic Games Paris 2024, Premier League, exclusive UEFA Champions League, NBA, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, Boxing, UFC, WWE, and more for £30.99 per month. These two sections of the text discuss different subjects and should be in separate paragraphs for clarity.
