During a match against Liverpool at Anfield, a stunt by one of the players, Vinnie Jones, left the Reds seething. Reflecting on the incident in the Football, Music and Me podcast, Vinnie Jones shared that he un-taped a big reel of white tape used for ankles, wrote ‘bothered?’
on it, and then smashed it across the ‘This is Anfield’ sign. The result was that they were banned from the player’s lounge and ushered straight to the coach after the game. Jones remarked that their behavior was all part of their confidence and psychology.
