Sara shared her experience of constantly comparing herself to other models and feeling inadequate because of her body. She explained how she would often work with another model who had a larger bust, making her feel self-conscious about her own appearance.
This led her to undergo a breast augmentation, despite already being selected as Playmate of the Year. She also described a distressing incident during a photo shoot when the photographer suggested she should “tuck” her clitoris, leaving her feeling humiliated and unsure of her own body.
Sara admitted that her adult life has been focused on trying to conform to beauty standards, as her livelihood depends on her appearance. She acknowledged the impact this has had on her self-image, and expressed a desire to work through these issues and redefine her identity beyond her physical looks.
Sara recognized that letting go of the pressure to conform to societal standards of beauty may lead to an identity crisis, but ultimately, she hopes to find new ways to support herself and feel desired in a different way.
