Boyzone to make appearance at non-league football match and could become the ‘face of the club’ – Daily Star

Chorley has announced a remarkable partnership with Boyzone, which will see the band appearing at a game and potentially becoming the ‘face of the club’. National League North side Chorley will welcome the band, consisting of Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch, and Mikey Graham, to Victory Park for their FA Trophy fifth round clash against Solihull Moors. The collaboration with the 90s heartthrobs could even lead to the band becoming the ‘face of the club’ as negotiations remain ongoing.

The Magpies, who are inside the play-off places in the National League North, released a statement detailing the surprise collaboration. “We have just confirmed that world renowned, Boyzone, will be joining us for our upcoming home game against Solihull Moors in the Isuzu FA Trophy this weekend! This collaboration with Boyzone is part of ongoing discussions that could potentially see them becoming the face of the football club.”

The statement concluded: “Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our negotiations.” One person wrote: “Why have you done this? Everything is fine as it is currently ‘it’s not time to make a change.'”

Another said: “If it was April 1st I would have said this was an April Fools joke. The statement is an incredible read.” While a third added: “Really hope Chorley FM are covering the event.”
