Cesc Fabregas drops hints about future after being linked with Premier League job – Daily Star

Cesc Fabregas recently shared insights into his current role and Como’s ambitions as they strive for promotion to Italy’s top tier. Como is currently in second place and is closing in on promotion, holding a three-point lead over their closest rivals Venezia with five matches remaining this term.

If they continue performing well, Como could return to Serie A for the first time since 2003, the same year Fabregas began his senior career. Despite the club’s aspirations for league and European success, Fabregas emphasized the importance of patience and the process.

He highlighted the club’s clear vision, dedication, and smart investments from the owners. Fabregas, who is now a part of Robert’s backroom team, expressed his ambition to become a main coach, stating that he feels ready for the role at 36 years old.

He expressed his readiness to be a first-team coach and emphasized his desire to avoid smaller coaching roles or being an assistant, preferring to focus on becoming a main coach in the future. He also mentioned that he has a clear plan in mind and aims to follow his own path until he is ready to take on a larger role.

Fabregas acknowledged that there is still a long way to go in his coaching journey, indicating that he is just getting started.
