Corrie legend’s son joins controversial group after ITV soap fame – Daily Star

Linus Roache, the eldest son of actor William Roache, had the opportunity to work with his father on multiple occasions. He began his acting career in 1975 by portraying Peter Barlow, the son of his father’s character Ken, in a soap opera.

This role had previously been played by three other actors, with the most recent portrayal being by Chris Gascoyne. Later, Linus portrayed Ken’s long-lost son Lawrence Cunningham and also appeared alongside Bill’s youngest son, James Cunningham.

In addition to his soap opera roles, Linus has starred in notable films such as The Wings Of The Dove and Batman Begins. Subsequently, Linus made a shift in his career by relocating to New York to participate in running a worldwide organization called EnlightenNext, which was established in 1988 by American guru Andrew Cohen.

This spiritual network boasts a large following across 20 countries and is focused on advancing evolution in consciousness and culture. In 2012, Linus was appointed as the managing director of the New York offices, while his wife Rosalind manages the CEO’s public relations.

Although Linus’s spiritual pursuits have received criticism due to his association with Andrew Cohen, he has remained dedicated to his beliefs. His upbringing was influenced by his parents, particularly their exploration of spirituality, including a brief embrace of druidism and participation in ceremonies at Stonehenge.

Linus has been inspired by his father’s steadfastness in standing up for his beliefs and strives to do the same despite potential criticism.
