Dele Alli’s Monday Night Football Appearance to Save Everton £10m – Daily Star

Alli has not appeared in any matches this season due to a muscle problem that has prevented him from playing since March 2023. Consequently, he will miss another fixture for the Toffees and instead provide his insights in the studio alongside Jamie Carragher and David Jones. Alli joined Goodison Park on a free transfer two years ago, with appearance-based add-ons included in the deal. He has only played 13 league matches for Everton due to injuries and a lack of form.

There is speculation about Alli’s future at the end of the season, as he has not played for Everton since returning from a loan spell with Besiktas. In a candid interview with Gary Neville last year, he revealed his rehabilitation for addiction and mental health issues, as well as his experience of childhood sexual abuse. Despite his past success as a highly rated prospect in English football, he has faced various challenges in recent years.
