Arabella has raised concerns about her experiences in prison, claiming she was threatened with violence and subjected to traumatising strip searches.

She also reported instances of food theft by fellow inmates, which led to threats of violence when she attempted to stand up for herself. Subsequently, her ordeal worsened when she was transferred to Dillwynia Correctional Centre, where she felt targeted and hopeless. Despite these challenges, Arabella is anticipating her release from prison in July and has expressed intentions to resume her boxing career.

In an affidavit to the court, she expressed feeling broken and defeated, with anxiety and fear about navigating each day.
