Iranian Messi Accused of Deceiving 23 Women for Sex, Could Have Faced Death Penalty – Daily Star

The legends of football were set to have their last showdown on February 1 at the Kingdom Arena Stadium, Saudi Arabia. Iran, however, already has its own connection to Messi.

Reza, a man living in Iran, is a celebrity due to his striking resemblance to the World Cup-winning Argentina captain. Sadly, there have been false accusations claiming that he used his appearance to deceive Messi fans.

In response, Reza expressed his disappointment, stating that the spread of false news can have serious consequences, particularly in his Muslim country. He highlighted the potential severe penalties such false claims could carry.

Despite the backlash, fans in a video posted on Reza’s Instagram page were heard praising the lookalike, saying: “Who needs Ronaldo, we have Messi here.” Previously, he was celebrated by adoring Argentina fans after their 2022 World Cup win in Qatar, with the Iranian reveling in the attention and Messi chants.
