Ali Heibati’s main event bout against Arkadiy Osipyan at Moscow’s Hardcore MMA 90 was marred by controversy even before it began. Shortly after the fight commenced, Osipyan achieved a one-sided victory by technical knockout in the very first round. Following the fight, Heibati, seeking to salvage his integrity, rose to his feet and launched a surprise attack on his opponent from behind.

The melee then erupted into a war of words as the two fighters engaged in a heated altercation reminiscent of a classic ‘Attitude era’ episode of WWF. In a shocking turn of events, Heibati escalated the situation further by aiming a head-height kick at a commentator, leading to a scuffle. After the incident, Heibati took to social media to publicly apologize to a ring girl named Maria for his inappropriate behavior towards her.

Despite his efforts to make amends, the HFC swiftly and decisively responded by imposing a lifetime ban on Heibati due to his unacceptable conduct. The HFC made it clear that such behavior, including violence towards women, would not be tolerated within their organization. Consequently, the league imposed fines on Heibati, with the entire amount being transferred to ring-girl Maria.

Additionally, all participants involved in the unsportsmanlike behavior were to be disqualified and removed from future appearances in Hardcore Media promotions. In summary, despite issuing apologies, Heibati faced severe repercussions for his actions, underlining the organization’s commitment to upholding moral and ethical standards within the sport.
