Low Attendance at Crucial Match Causes Further Embarrassment for Saudi Pro League

The influx of talent in the Saudi Pro League has not resulted in the expected increase in ticket sales. For instance, a game featuring Al-Okhdood saw only around 300 fans in attendance, while in September, a match between Al Fayha and Al Riyadh drew just 281 fans.

When asked about the low attendances, a representative expressed optimism for the future, stating that they anticipate higher attendance next year. Additionally, the league offers its community members various competitions, special offers, promotions, and advertisements from both the league and its partners.

The representative also acknowledged that, like anywhere in the world, some matches attract more audience than others, but noted that the big matches have been drawing record numbers of viewers, with games being broadcasted to 147 countries globally. They emphasized their unexpected but positive pace of development and their commitment to attracting top talent to the league.
