Man accused of ‘assisting Russians in President Zelenskyy assassination plot’ – Daily Star

A Polish national has been arrested for attempting to facilitate the assassination of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This individual’s tasks included collecting and providing military intelligence of the Russian Federation concerning the security of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine shared information regarding the potential crime with the Polish Prosecutor’s Office.

Key evidence in the case was obtained from the Ukrainian side as part of legal assistance during the investigation. The National Prosecutor’s Office and the Internal Security Agency on the Polish side cooperated well with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, enabling the coordination of actions and the securing of evidence even outside Poland. The spokesman informed that the investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Internal Security Agency under the supervision of the National Prosecutor’s Office.
