Man Utd’s Summer Plan for Jadon Sancho Despite Erik ten Hag’s Status – Daily Star

Manchester United are confident that they will be able to reach a permanent deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho. Sancho returned to Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season in January, following a standoff with United boss Erik ten Hag. The agreement with the German club does not include a clause to make the transfer permanent, so Sancho is set to return to United on July 1.

However, United officials are determined to sell Sancho and believe that a price can be agreed upon with Dortmund. The England international has expressed his enjoyment of life in Dortmund and is looking towards a future away from United. Despite being under contract with United until 2026, his value is increasing as he continues to perform well on the pitch.

United have a strong working relationship with Dortmund and are willing to give them first refusal on the winger. Sancho was banned from training with the first team at United after refusing to apologize, before securing a move to Dortmund in the last transfer window. Ten Hag’s stance has not changed, and it’s unlikely that Sancho will have a future at United if the manager remains in place after the summer.
