Manchester City and Real Madrid battle it out in thrilling Champions League showdown – Daily Star

The first leg of the match between City and Real ended with a 3-3 draw, setting the stage for an exciting return leg in Manchester. City initially held the advantage with second-half goals from Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol, but Real’s Federico Valverde delivered a late equalizer, leaving the tie finely balanced.

Real was on a mission for revenge after their previous defeat, which added pressure on them to produce a positive result. Despite missing key players, City got off to a strong start with a brilliant free kick from Bernardo Silva.

However, Real quickly turned the tables with goals from Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo, creating a thrilling and intense match with constant back-and-forth action. Despite Real’s dominance in creating chances, City’s Foden and Gvardiol managed to score impressive goals, but Valverde’s late stunner secured a draw for Real.

The stage is now set for an eagerly awaited return leg next week.
