Manchester United fan cycled to Wembley from Mongolia for FA Cup thriller after 11-month journey – Daily Star

Manchester United had a dramatic game, with Mark Robins’ team coming from three goals down to draw 3-3 and making it to penalties. Diehard fan Ochirvaani Batbold had an eventful and exhausting first experience watching United in person. He shared his dream of playing for United, which started when he was a teenager. Ochirvaani spent 10 years playing football, facing both success and struggles, including injuries and depression.

He spoke of United’s dramatic comebacks, The Theatre of Dreams, great players, Sir Alex Ferguson, and the never-give-up mentality. The narrow victory on Sunday embodied some of these ideologies, but not in the typical manner or against the usual level of opposition. Ochirvaani, 26, revealed that he decided to complete his journey by bike just two weeks before it was due to commence. He set off from Mongolia and traveled through various countries before reaching England.

Despite overcoming punctures and visa issues, he reached his final destination, Old Trafford.
