Massage therapist files lawsuit against Arsenal player over alleged dog attack during selfie incident.

Saeid Motaali claims that an Italian mastiff named Tiago attacked him by biting his arm and neck after they took a selfie together. Motaali alleges that he had to shield himself and yank his arm away from the dog’s mouth to protect himself.

Nelson, who has denied the allegation, is accused of failing to keep the dog under control and not using a muzzle or lead on the hound, which had been trained as a guard dog. The claim has been filed at the High Court on behalf of Mr. Motaali by a law firm.

The attack is said to have taken place in the kitchen of Nelson’s home in Hadley Wood, north London. Nelson is also set to face trial at Hendon Magistrates’ Court for being in charge of a dog which caused injury while dangerously out of control in August.

The former Feyenoord loanee’s trial was delayed as more evidence was being gathered when he arrived in court in September 2023.
