Andreas Pereira, a talented Brazilian midfielder, joined Manchester United’s academy in 2011 after gaining attention for his performances with PSV Eindhoven’s youth team. Despite interest from other clubs, United secured his services and he fondly recalls the surprising meeting with legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

He went on loan to Flamengo before joining Fulham in 2022, reflecting on the impact of his formative years at United. After experiencing the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, Pereira expressed his desire to play and received an invitation from the president of Flamengo to join the team.
