Neil Warnock angrily confronts ball boys as Aberdeen manager suffers first loss in return to coaching – Daily Star

Neil Warnock returned to management and oversaw his 1,627th game as a manager at Ibrox on Tuesday night. Rangers took the lead with a goal from Rabbi Matondo, but Bojan Miovski equalised before half-time.

Todd Cantwell secured the win for Rangers, and Aberdeen couldn’t capitalise on their numerical advantage in the last 10 minutes, partly due to expert time-wasting. Despite the loss, Warnock is optimistic about improving Aberdeen’s position from ninth place.

After experiencing VAR for the first time, Warnock praised referee Don Robertson for sticking to his decision about Sterling’s red card. He also expressed surprise at the time-wasting tactics employed by the ball boys at Ibrox.

Warnock enjoyed watching the game and is confident that Aberdeen will only get better. He praised the center-backs for their performance and commended the referee for being brave and sticking with a decision, something that, according to Warnock, is less common in England.
