Neil Warnock has made a classic cameo once again. After coming out of retirement to lead Huddersfield Town to a great escape, the legendary gaffer has now taken up the vacant Aberdeen position until the end of the season. He aims to guide his now eighth-placed side up the table, despite his wife’s initial surprise at the move to the north of Scotland.
Warnock has emphasized that the decision was not driven by money. He mentioned that he and his family follow Scottish club Greenock Morton due to having a house in the area, which influenced his move to Aberdeen. He sees the move as an opportunity for the club to find the right manager for the future, while also hoping to bring some enjoyment to the team for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, he expressed his motivation to put smiles on people’s faces, and noted that the kind of fans Aberdeen has are the type he can relate to.
