Preston Footballer Pleads Guilty to Hotel Attack, Admits Kicking Woman in Face – Daily Star

The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm at Preston Crown Court. Cross-Adair kicked a woman in the face, causing a cut on her lip while they were on holiday in Spain with the footballer’s family on May 26, 2023. He initially denied the attack and was granted bail. However, he changed his plea on Wednesday (January 24) and was handed an 18-month community order.

Cross-Adair was traveling in a Seat Ibiza when his vehicle collided head-on with a Mercedes Sprinter van, leaving him in a serious condition in the hospital. He is a boyhood Preston North End supporter and began training with the first team in September 2022. He made his debut against Stoke City as a 17-year-old before being sent on loan to Annan Athletic in Scotland’s League One. The player had played seven games for Annan this season but has not featured since his accident.
