Queen’s last photo with great-grandchildren contained a hidden message for the absent child.

The memory of the Queen will undoubtedly hold a special place in the hearts of her royal relatives. Last year, to mark the anniversary of her passing, a previously unseen photo captured by the Princess of Wales was unveiled.

The picture, taken at Balmoral just weeks before the Queen’s death, shows the former monarch seated on a sofa surrounded by her youngest relatives, including her great-grandchildren Savannah Phillips, Mia Tindall, and Lucas Tindall. In the photo, there is also a framed picture of Sienna alongside her father Edo Mapelli Mozzi, leading some to speculate that it may have been taken after her baptism in April 2022.

Notably absent from the family portrait are other great-grandchildren, including Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet, and August Brooksbank. Since the Queen’s passing, Princess Eugenie’s second son, Ernest, has also joined the family.

However, the authenticity of the photo came into question when a leading picture agency revealed that it had been digitally enhanced at the source. Getty Images placed an editor’s note on the image, admitting to the digital enhancement.

This revelation follows another controversy involving a digitally enhanced photo of Kate and her three children released for Mother’s Day last month.
