They strongly condemned the actions of the Wealdstone fans and expressed ongoing concerns about the behavior of various groups of Wealdstone fans, including criminal acts such as assault, entering the field of play, throwing flares and missiles, and causing criminal damage. The incident dealt a blow to Barnet’s automatic promotion hopes, as they are already trailing table-toppers Chesterfield.
Wealdstone, on the other hand, are currently 12th in the league standings. In another incident, police had to intervene as York City and Hartlepool supporters brawled with each other outside Hartlepool’s stadium after their National League clash.
