Simon Whitlock’s son impressively scores blind 180 in darts, earning praise from legend dad.

Mason Whitlock, a 20-year-old, is following in his father’s footsteps in the world of darts and is proving himself to be quite talented in the sport. His father, Simon Whitlock, is a 55-year-old Australian star who has enjoyed a successful career in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) for the past fifteen years.

In a recent MODUS Super Series Group C game, Mason, sporting a mullet, faced off against Colin Osborne, a 2007 World Championship quarter-finalist and the 2009 Championship League winner. Despite the experience of his opponent, Mason managed to pull off an impressive feat on just his second visit to the dartboard during the game.

He executed a no-look 180, turning his head to the side as he released his third arrow, which landed in the treble 60 bed. This act of darting showboating attracted attention and admiration.

Simon Whitlock, Mason’s father, took to Twitter to react to his son’s accomplishment. He retweeted a video of Mason’s blind 180 and added emojis of a dartboard and a laughing face, expressing pride with the words: “That’s my boy!”

Despite this initial success, Mason was unable to maintain his strong start and was ultimately defeated 4-1 by Osborne, a result that ended his run in the game.
