Arsenal’s £25m outcast hopes to return despite not speaking to Mikel Arteta – Daily Star

Kieran Tierney, the Scotland international, is presently on loan at Real Sociedad in Spain. Despite this, the left-back expressed uncertainty about his future with the Gunners, stating that he has not had any discussions with manager Arteta.

Even so, Tierney hasn’t ruled out the possibility of remaining a Gunners player next season, especially after witnessing William Saliba’s impressive return to the side following three successive loan spells away. He remarked, “It’s a bit strange that you can come back the way [William] Saliba did.

It is strange to be on loan for four years and then return to play. Football is crazy, so we’ll see.”

Additionally, Tierney mentioned, “Honestly, this is an incredible experience, I enjoy it. It’s a shame that there is so little time left, there are a good six or seven weeks left of the season.”

In a separate context, Tierney believes that Arsenal has the potential to win the title. He stated, “I think they can [win the title].

They’ve got more experience, their whole game has developed so much, defensively they’re solid, they don’t give much away. If you can keep that record up, then 100%, you’ve got every chance to go and do it.”

Apart from his perspective on Arsenal’s performance, the text also mentions that Arsenal will next face Bayern Munich for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final after a 2-2 draw in the first leg last Tuesday.
