Footage shown in court reveals the events leading to the arrest of Phil Foden’s mother outside a north Wales nightclub. Her night took a negative turn after being ejected from a bar called Bentley’s for flicking off a fellow partygoer’s hat. Police were called to the scene, and bodycam footage depicted the altercation between her group and the authorities before her arrest. Rowlands, 44, and her friends resisted the police and attempted to flee before she was ultimately apprehended. She admitted to consuming alcohol prior to being removed from Bentley’s and taunted the officers during the incident.

In Llandudno magistrates’ court, Foden’s mother appeared composed and was acquitted of assault but was fined for her behavior. She disclosed that she does not drink frequently but indulges when she does. Bouncers had removed her from the venue after the hat-flipping incident, which she described as “just a bit of fun.” She acknowledged her altercation with the police, admitting that she had become confrontational.
